Objective of the Class: Florida Roadway Navigation The objective of this class is to teach drivers how to navigate Florida’s highways, expressways, toll roads, and intersections safely and efficiently. By understanding merging techniques, lane usage, toll road systems, and complex roadway designs like roundabouts and J-turns, students will be better equipped to handle real-world driving situations with confidence. By the end of this class, students will be able to: ✅ Merge onto and exit highways safely – Learn how to use acceleration and deceleration lanes properly to enter and leave high-speed roads. ✅ Navigate toll roads efficiently – Understand Florida’s SunPass system, toll payment options, and express lanes. ✅ Drive through roundabouts and intersections correctly – Learn right-of-way rules, lane usage, and safe entry/exit techniques in circular intersections. ✅ Perform U-turns and J-turns safely – Know when and where U-turns are allowed and how J-turns help reduce collision risks. ✅ Use GPS and maps effectively – Improve trip planning skills, navigation accuracy, and safe use of GPS without distraction. This class will help drivers confidently navigate Florida’s roadways, reducing stress and improving safety when driving on high-speed roads, complex intersections, and toll systems. 🚗🛣️✅
